We use 3 types of sampling techniques to test mold
Bulk sampling:
A part of the affected area of your home is cut and sent for testing.
Swab testing:
A pre-moistened swab is rolled on the mold growth and the sample is sent for testing.
Air sampling:
This process involves collecting air samples from inside the building and comparing them to the outside sample to determine if there are elevated levels of mold spores that can pose health hazards.
Lift Sampling:
Similar to swab sampling except that a microscopic slide with and adhesive side is pressed onto a growth and the growth is lifted onto the slide and then sent for testing.
